We all know them, one more than the other for most of us. I think a lot of things are like homework, you really REALLY don’t want to do it, but you know that you probably should get to work. This is where procrastination comes in…. That’s right, that feeling you get, or that voice in your head that says, “You’ll be fine, don’t worry, you’ve got it all under control.” Before you know it (if you went with the “homework” side), every thing’s done, and you are already relaxing on the couch, or playing outside. Either way, you ARE D0NE and there really is nothing more to worry about. However… if you went with that voice in your head or with that certain feeling, you are already at least one hour behind and you have a small and uncomfortable feeling that says, “What are you doing? Wake up to reality!” That feeling always grows, no matter how much you want to ignore it. Eventually you end up on the slippery and nearly vertical slope of self- accusations, scolding looks from your parents (or whoever you rely on to get you going), and MUCH more wasted time than you ever intended in the first place. And the only thing on your mind at this point is, “What do I do now?” It’s a good question, one that some people simply refuse to answer (and they slide a little further down). So, I ask you, what’s your answer?
