My sister wants to be a missionary to a completely unreached tribe (especially in Papua New Guinea.) That thought scares me to death! She is serious though. She’s going to Bible college, and after that, missionary college. She might even go on a missions trip. But she’s my closet friend, and I don’t want to lose her. She would probably be the most likely candidate to survive. She’s that kind of person. But all the dangers out there make me more scared than she probably is/would be. But at the same time I feel awful for feeling this way, when all those tribes are living in darkness. Also all of a sudden my brother is talking about taking a cultural course at a missionary school too. But I don’t think he really would make it. He took two trips to Ghana, but I think he just thinks it’s cool. He has to have special medicine though and he is kinda prissy, I don’t think he would last long. The whole thing just makes me nervous. 

Answer: Wow…that’s awesome that your brother and sister want to reach others for Christ and they are taking the steps to do it. God tells us to stay in Him and He will stay in us and without Him, we can’t do anything. So trust Jesus in this. If they go out into the darkness to save other for Christ, He will be with them no matter what they face. It’s hard not to worry, but focus your eyes on what Jesus is doing. It’s impressive that they want to do this! Pray for them for safety, wisdom and guidance. Their path will become clear!

Hi! My friend is always really mean to me! I don’t know why! Sometimes she’s nice but when you try to reason or argue with her she gets all defensive! And when she makes fun of you and you try to make her stop she gets all defensive again!  She lies about everything and can’t admit that she’s wrong. She is a really good friend when she’s nice but she’s a super bully when she’s mad! What’ll I do if I want to get her out of my life and at the same time stay with her?

Answer: You can limit your time you want to spend with her. So choose how much you want to hang out, then focus on other friends who aren’t mean!

My mom just died of breast cancer and in January my brother died in a car accident with a drunk driver.  Im not even drying right now and i just found out my mom died. Has anyone ever experienced a parent dying?

Answer: Yes and it hurts! It will take time to heal the hurt. Try to think of the good times with your mom and brother. I just heard this about a famous man who just died…don’t think of what might have been in the future, but focus on what you had with your mom and brother. Big hugs and prayers for you!

All my friends have had at least 1 boy friend and I have had none. Y can I not get a boyfriend???

Answer: Just because your friends have bf’s doesn’t mean you need one. You will have one soon enough and then some! Hang in there and don’t settle on just anyone!

I have a problem with my boyfriend. He is really cool and all but he is mean 2 people but not me and he has a bad temper which I can’t control. I can’t joke anyhow with him like say are u silly when I am jokin. He will take it serious and quarrell with me badly but he takes the jokes from everyone else except me. why? help.

Answer: Sounds like you bf is controlling. Be careful with him especially if he has a bad temper. You should not be fighting with you bf, but having fun. If it’s not fun, lose him. There are a lot of guys out there that are nice guys who would laugh at your jokes.

I have dis girl she’s actually not my bestfriend she’s only my closest friend… I told her my secret..  And few days passed, the secret was already known with my other classmate!!!  OMG!! What will I do with my closest friend?? , will I still chat with her online, talk to her on the telephone, talk to her in person etc.???  pls help me.

Answer: You can still be close friends, just don’t tell her anything that you don’t want out!

I like my sister’s boyfriend, but she will get mad at me if I tell her. What should I do?

Answer: Not a good idea to go there!

I really like the school that i am going to right now but my friends are being kinda mean to me. They are not really hanging out with me and saying stuff about the other friends that I have. I am going to a christian school right now and love it. But the problem is that my friends are being mean and that my sister is going to college, and it cost a lot so it is hard for us to afford both my school and my sister’s college. But my mom thinks i should stay at my school cause it is a Christian school and the other school isnt. Please tell me which one i should go to.

Answer: First, if your friends are mean try to find out why? If they continue to be mean, then find friends who aren’t. There are a lot of girls out there that would love to be your new friend! Second, trust your parent’s decision in the schools. Christian schools are great and there might be a time when you want to attend public schools, but until then, go with what your parents can afford and want to do for you. But if you do go to a public school-hang onto what you’ve already learned!
